2025 USADSA Summer Camp
General Camp Information
General Camp Information
USA Deaf Soccer (USADSA) is excited to announce its first ever annual summer camp. Our camp will be located at Colorado School for the Deaf and Blind in Colorado Springs. USADSA Summer Camp provides kids who are members of the d/Deaf and hard of hearing community an opportunity to play soccer and build friendships with kids like themselves. Our camp itinerary will include activities both on and off the field (team building, games, etc.). All experience and skill levels are welcome – some kids will be beginners while others are already playing at competitive levels. Our goal is for everyone to have fun and to feel safe, engaged, and challenged!
We are providing two participation options for this camp:
Overnight Campers ($450)
- Thursday, June 26 – Sunday, June 29, 2025
- Ages 10-18 only
- Sleep in dorms
- All meals provided
Day Campers ($250)
- Friday, June 27 – Sunday, June 29, 2025
- Ages 7-18
- 9:00am – 4:30pm
- Parents responsible for transportation each day
- Lunch provided
There is adult supervision by staff who have been vetted and trained to work with d/Deaf and hard of hearing athletes. This staff will include members of the Deaf Men’s and Women’s National Teams. Interpreters will be at the camp to ensure communication is accessible for all, and a certified athletic trainer will be on hand for any medical needs. After drop-off, parents are not allowed to come on the camp premises until pick up times unless expressly invited, but there are many hotels nearby. We will do our best to accommodate for dietary needs – please indicate this in registration!
Eligibility Requirements
Summer camp is open to kids ages 7 to 18 who are part of the d/Deaf and hard of hearing community, including siblings and children of deaf or hard of hearing individuals.
We’re excited to create a fun, supportive environment where campers can build friendships, grow their skills, and make lasting memories!
Due to venue accessibility and staffing resources this event is suited for campers who are able to move independently without walkers or crutches and manage their basic daily needs (like eating, showering, and using the bathroom) without assistance.
Our day camp is open to ages seven and up, while our overnight campers must be at least 10 years old. For overnight campers, we also ask for a brief reference from a teacher or coach to confirm that the camper is ready to stay away from home for three nights.
While we would love to welcome everyone, please know that we are not currently staffed to provide one-on-one daily support. If you’re not sure whether our camp is the right fit for your child, we encourage you to reach out — we’re happy to talk it through with you
